There are the 3 pillars on which the Redalpi Group sustainability plan is based on, corresponding with UN SDG (UN. Sustainable Development Goals)
SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
Social sustainability is about identifying and managing business impacts on people. The quality of a company’s relationships and engagement with its stakeholders is critical. Directly or indirectly, companies affect what happens to employees, workers in the value chain, customers and local communities, and it is important to manage impacts proactively.
Practice and Implementation: Redalpi group require all our suppliers to be certified by the international social compliance certificates and comply with customer compliance programs; for example BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP to ensure that local labor laws and Redalpi social sustainable plan are followed. A team of specialized compliance professionals conducts regular compliance checks during on sites visits.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
Ecological integrity is maintained, all of earth’s environmental systems are kept in balance while natural resources within them are consumed by humans at a rate where they are able to replenish themselves.
Practice and Implementation: Redalpi group focus on the manufacturing process’s monitoring and require all our suppliers to maintain Ecological integrity and comply with customer environmental compliance programs; for example DETOX, ZDHC, HIGG, BCI, OEKO-TEX 100.
ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY
The economic sustainability is where most businesses feel they are profitable. But profit cannot trump the other two pillars, social and environment, which can conduct in parallel with business management. Activities that fit under the economic pillar include compliance, proper governance and risk management.
